I introduce students to studio practice through intensive conceptual, visual and material investigations.

I want students to learn that the life of an artist or designer requires a commitment to the pursuit of knowledge. It is most important to teach beginning students to "see"- whereas seeing allows the student to better understand and acknowledge the world around her.
